The idea of unbreakable sticks sounded cool at first, but i quickly went back to wood after using these for a while, for several reasons. These tor up my hands badly, and are heavy. They also don't have the feel and response of wood sticks. The tips broke off after a week, and it is hard to find replacement tips at a reasonable price. I would not recommend these to anybody!

These sticks were designed for heavy metal players who hit really hard, and use alot of power. If you're not the heavy hitting drummer, and you play not so hard e.g jazz, pop, funk...these are NOT for you! They are as heavy as oak 5b sticks, approximately. By the ways I recommend buying the Ahead drummers gloves, and grip tape. With the combination of both you can't go wrong, trust me. Try it out yourself. I use 'em and I have no problem what so ever. I hope you find this helpfull and have fun with your new Ahead sticks. Peace out.

I purchased these sticks back in January. I had already tried the tommy lee signature model, but i wanted something lighter. Much lighter. Anyway, they have a great rebound and they DO last much longer. The only thing I don't really like is the grip area. If you tend to sweat, they'll fall off your hand. So it's highly recommended to get some grip tape.
All in all, these are the best drumsticks I've ever tried. They last very long and they can hit hard without much effort. Totally recommended.

My just turned 4 son has had this item for about 3+ months and has enjoyed it alot. I am amazed at how it has enhanced his letter recognition; excellent edutainment. He's even writing many of his letters better now. The games are simple but they are meant to be. It has 2 volume selections and is very durable. He has taken a few breaks from regular use with it but seems to always come back and enjoy it.

I was at a local store and handed this to my 4 year old son to keep him occupied while I shopped. He really enjoyed it so I decided to buy it. My son's favorite game is the maze. My almost 3 year old likes matching games, but has a tough time managing the controls.
It has a battery saving feature, it goes to sleep mode, it says bye-bye within seconds of no motion. Requires 3 AAA batteries. It's about 5.5" L X 4" W.

I bought this for my 3 year old because she is always wanting to play with her older sister's Leapster. I am not ready to get her a Leapster and thought maybe this would satisfy her when she couldn't play it. Not really!

It is ok. The volume has a control, but she always has it on the louder choice, which is too loud, in my opinion. She plays with it for a few minutes at a time, but it doesn't keep her interest. She has only had it a couple weeks, so maybe after she gets used to the games, she will play it more. Not a bad unit for the price. A decent introduction to a handheld game.

I am fostering a litter of kittens at the moment, and they fell in love with an old leather mouse we had purchased a few years back for our other cats. Problem was, they were fighting over it- and not in a very nice way. The company that used to manufacture the older leather mouse has since switched to synthetic fur and leather, and our cats want nothing to do with them... so I searched online and found these. They showed up yesterday (quickly), I passed a few out to the kittens, and they spent HOURS playing with these. No fights ensued. Our older cats also love these, and it's bringing out the kitten in them. One problem I've noted so far: cats often put their "prey" in water, supposedly to keep it fresher, longer. The black leather mice bleed into the water! The dye just comes right out. I was shocked to see a bowl full of black water yesterday evening, that's for sure. I'm assuming the dye is harmless (since the cats were obviously meant to bite them, etc.), but I just feel better not giving them those mice. Not sure yet if the others bleed, too- but I will update this review once I know.

I purchased the Cramer Kik Step after visiting my aunt and seeing a similar old-fashioned kitchen stepping stool. My (almost)two year-old could use it to stand on, reach the counter, and take an apple.

The stool is very sturdy and quite versatile. I use it in the kitchen to reach tall pantry shelves. My little one uses it to stand on to wash his hands (and get into things on the counters). I find this stool so much easier than the small foldable steps I had been using since you can pretty much nudge it along on the wheels (we have wood floors throughout the house). The stool doubles as a seat for my child to read on while I cook:-) The product was definitely a worthwhile purchase and fills many needs.

It's funny, but until you own a Kik Step, it's hard to understand why it's been such an enduring product, and why you see them everywhere. First, they are extremely well made, safe, and durable. Second, they are incredibly convenient, you literally kick them around to where you need them, and they roll on their spring-loaded, hidden wheels.

Ours is now a couple of years old, and it's battle scarred, paint stained, but still going as strong as ever. It holds 500 pounds, so a full grown man toting a full-grown load can step up on it.

Also, it's a great stool working on stuff, as well. All in all, one of the more useful purchases we've ever made.

The Remote did not work ever. The Dvd player is horrible its cheap and is a sucky one. The Subwoofer is just a box it is not a great subwoofer and the speakers are Fine they work the best our of everything. Spend you money on a better system its not worth more than 10 bucks.

I bought this system for my Daughter's room to hook up to a small video projector. The DVD player wouldn't play about half of my Daughter's DVDs. These same DVDs would play just fine on any of our other home DVD players. The message we would receive was "LOADING", but the DVD just wouldn't play.

When the system would load the DVD correctly the speakers sounded great, but the DVD player would skip. I tried a DVD cleaner, but the problem just got worse.

One month later the DVD player wouldn't work at all. The speakers are still working fine.

We have another Coby portable DVD player with a built in 7in screen. This DVD player works great and we have never had any problems with it and are using it in place of the DVD player you are considering buying.

I would pass on this model, but don't reject all of Coby's products.

Gotta say this little set up works great for a space that just wouldn't support a full 5.1 system. When you have a small apartment, paper thin walls, and a neighbor who is just primed to lodge a noise complaint... well you get the point. I was getting a lot of "muddy" sound from the TV speakers, and my DVD player just went. This little baby sure took care of both. Only real drawback is that it is only a composite out, but can I really complain when I only have standard def. DVDs?
